Let's clean up Sørsjetéen!

Join this clean up event on the outskirt of Tromsø Sentrum, as part of the national clean-up effort that aims to remove litter in cities (Byryddedagene). Lend a hand on land or in the sea, and contribute to a citizen science effort to sort litter and trace its sources more effectively.

About the event
Rissa Citizen Science and SUT-Studentenes Undervannsklubb Tromsø join forces to organize a cleanup in the Sørsjetéen area, near Tromsø city center.
This effort is part of the Byryddedagene (City Cleanup Days), supported by Holde Norge Rent.
Everyone is welcome to join, as help is needed on land and in the water.
Our first mission will be to collect the trash.
Our second mission will be to sort everything out to better understand where the various items come from. We hope that this will help us propose solutions to keep the area cleaner in the future.
Interested in joining? Sign up here (or on Hold Norge Rent, soon). We'll bring gloves and bags to safely handle the litter, and we'll offer snacks and hot drinks to the volunteers.
